Anni was found on the riverbed. She is estimated to be born 4.10.2020. She weighs 15kg but is underweight and is a medium cross breed. She is 46cm in height. She is playful and loves toys and people but can be reactive with neighbouring dogs. She is suffering from kennel stress and is much better when in the garden. She walks well and is not scared of traffic. We would not recommend her for a home with young children as she can easily get over excited

Bert and his mother were found abandoned and rescued by a charity. He is estimated to be born 9.9.2020. He currently weighs 13.7kg and has tested positive for leishmaniosis. He is a shy but very sweet looking podenco dog and is gaining confidence. He gets on well with other dogs and will lose his fear in time and turn into a nice young dog. He now walks quite well on a lead although is still scared of big traffic.

Chispa was born 6.2.21 and is a tricolour bodeguero cross. She was an unwanted pet and spent her time on a balcony. She weighs 9.1kg and is 41cm in height. She is active and friendly but still a bit nervous with new people. She walks on a lead but needs more training. She is negative to Mediteranean diseases

Clara was born 25.12.2018 and weighs 10.3kg. She is 46cm in height and is a female podenca. She has tested positive for leishmaniosis so requires daily medication. She is a sweet friendly dog who lives happily with a mixed group. She has just started lead training but needs a bit more experience

Fohn is estimated to be born 25.10.2018 and is a podenca. She weighs 9.3kg and is 38cm in height. She was trapped. She is sweet and playful but a bit shy. She gets on well with other dogs but prefers them to be not too boisterous. She needs more lead training

Iris is estimated to be born 27.8.2019. She was rescued from the campo and is a podenca. She weighs 16.2kg and is approximately 47cm in height. She is very friendly but a bit shy still. She is very playful and gets on well with the other dogs. She currently lives with a male. She is super excitable on a lead and needs more lead training. She has tested positive for leishmaniosis so is on daily medication

Lily was born 20.5.2014 and is a small podenca. She was handed in by a German lady who was returning to Germany. She is super sweet with people and tends to prefer women but with other dogs she can be aggressive. For this reason she is best suited to a single dog home. She has had an operation on her right hind leg and has spent much time in a cage since. She walks very nicely on the lead and is not scared of traffic. She can be a bit timid to start with and we suspect she may have been hit in the past

Linx was rescued along with two other dogs. He was born 25.5.2019 and weighs 17.1kg. He is a medium crossbreed who is 47cm in height. He is friendly with people he knows but is still a bit insecure and will growl if worried. He is best suited to experienced owners who can help him get more confident. He has tested positive for leishmaniosis

Morzi is estimated to be born 10.1.2019 and she came in with her pups. She weighs 10.5kg and is 45cm in height. She was trapped and is a very sweet but shy podenca. She is positive for leishmaniosis but needs retested as it appears to currently be inactive. She is rather timid and needs more lead training. Gets on well with other dogs

Pixie is a very sweet podenca born 25.10.2018. She weighs 9.6kg and is 47cm in height. She is a typical podenca, very active, friendly and can be submissive. She still needs lead training but this should not be too difficult. She gets on well with other dogs. She has tested positive for leishmaniosis so daily medication is required

Polly is estimated to be born 1.11.20 and is a Podenca. She weighs 10kg and has tested positive for leishmaniosis. She is friendly and lively and has started lead training. She would benefit from more training and experience. She gets on well with all the dogs she lives with

Sanjay is estimated to be born 3.3.2017 and is a small to medium cross breed. He was trapped as part of a rescue of a group of dogs. He is a very sweet but shy boy and weighs 17.2kg. Very gentle and gets on well with other dogs. He is a very nice natured dog who walks well although he does prefer women. He is playful and has one of the nicest temperament of refuge dogs. He is positive for leishmaniosis so requires daily medication. He is still a bit nervous of fireworks and loud noises

Wolfie is estimated to be born August 2016. He was found in a very bad state and completely wild. He is getting tamer and lives happily with a female dog. He weighs 11.2kg and is 42cm in height. He is a small white podenco with a docked tail. He has demonstrated fear related aggression in the past and still needs time spent with him but is friendly once he knows people. He now lives with another dog. He would also need a secure garden and would be best suited to a calm home with no young children. He now walks nicely on the lead but can be quite easily frightened by loud noises. He seems to get on well with other dogs and has turned into a sweet boy
